A few months ago I contacted Robin asking him to look at an oil painting by Dan Weggeland (Father of Utah Art), that had been in my family since 1909. Over time the painting had become dark and dull. Robin explained to me the process he would use to clean the painting. I was amazed at the detailed and careful way he proceeded, working slowly and carefully to preserve the painting. After he had cleaned half of the painting, he showed me what had and hadn’t been cleaned. The contrast was stark. When the cleaning process was completed the painting was alive with vibrancy and renewed color. We now have a painting we can once again enjoy and appreciate.
